Forest Bathing - Midsummer slowdown
Have you been going non-stop this summer now that everything is open again? Here is your opportunity to slow down for a few hours to connect with nature and enjoy some self-care. Nature offers us an abundance of benefits but we rarely slow down enough to enjoy them all. Come out Saturday morning to get your fill of serenity and beauty and you'll still have time left to get to your to-do list, hopefully with more peace and presence.
This walk is a 2 1/2 -3 hour opportunity to slow down, awaken our senses and nurture our relationship with nature. Through a series of guided invitations, you will find your own ways of connecting with nature as you relax into being present with the sights, smells, sounds, textures and tastes of the woods. There's no rush and there's no right or wrong way to do it. Simply come as you are and witness the beauty of your own relationship with nature.
We will be meeting outside of the tennis courts in Schenley Park, rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella if rain is a possibility. I will provide small camp stools to sit on. If thunderstorms are forecasted 2 days prior, we will cancel and full refunds will be given.
