Proposed funding includes after-school tutoring, reading programs and computer skills training as well as emergency home repairs, park and community center improvements and housing programs. Residents are invited to review and comment on the proposed $12 million spending plan online, in person, by phone, mail or email: The Annual Action Plan is scheduled to be adopted by City Council Aug. 3 and submitted to HUD no later than Aug. 15. Funding will benefit low- to moderate-income residents and the homeless in Fort Worth, as well as people with HIV/AIDS in Tarrant and surrounding counties.
