MOKENA, IL. — The Village of Mokena is reminding residents that refuse and recycling collection has been pushed back a day, from July 6 to July 7, because of the Fourth of July holiday. Collection will resume at its regular dates starting July 13. Additionally, Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St., will be closed July 5 for the Fourth of July holiday.
