CARTERSVILLE, GA — Authorities are seeking possible human-trafficking victims who stayed at a Bartow County hotel. According to authorities with the Department of Homeland Security, as reported by WSB-TV, Shreesh Tiwari, owner and manager of the Budgetel Inn on Carson Loop in Cartersville, forced women to have sex with him in exchange for shelter. If the women refused him, the authorities allege, they would be evicted from the motel. Anyone who's had forced sexual contact with Tiwari or who worked for him for low or no pay is urged to contact Homeland Security at 866-DHS-2ICE. Victims may also submit anonymous tips online on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency's website. Read the story on WSB-TV's website.
