Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/01/2021 211820314 Preliminary Information: On July 1st, 2021, around 4:23 am, officers responded to the location of 1629 Ezra Church Dr NW in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings and established a crime scene. Shortly after, officers learned that female had already transported to herself privately to the hospital with a gunshot wound. She was alert, conscious and breathing and in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was shot by a male suspect whom she states she is familiar with. Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
