New Brighton United Methodist Church JOB DESCRIPTION: We are actively seeking two Christ following musicians to add to our worship team. More specifically, we are looking for a female singer who can play an instrument. We are also looking for a keyboardist with experience in multiple styles of music. Other instrumentalists are also encouraged to apply. JOB DUTIES: -Provide music for our worship service each Sunday -Attend weekly rehearsal -Provide music for occasional special events -Collaborate with Music Director and Worship team to help build a strong worship experience -Work with Music Director to make recordings for our online presence -Do necessary preparation for rehearsals and performances JOB QUALIFICATIONS: -Follower of Christ -Skilled musician with performance experience -Solid understanding of music theory and standard song structures -Music Degree is preferred, but not required Compensation - $100 per week/ $5,200 per year If interested, please respond with contact information, resume/cv, and short cover letter detailing experience.
