Need to Rehome Dog

Description

“Puppy” (as I’ve been calling him) found me, he was a stray. I attempted to find his owners, contacted the humane society, but was told he was a stray. I initially thought about keeping him, so he’s been neutered, microchipped & had his shots. The good: he is crate trained, he automatically goes to his crate at meal times & bedtime & will sleep through the night. He does good on a leash. Knows sit (although the other basic commands are still a work in progress). Loves other dogs, loves the dog park. Mostly potty trained (he will alert you when he needs to go out). Does great on car rides (I took him to Michigan & back & he laid down in my backseat the entire trip. He can be supper cuddly. He’s never bit or growled, doesn’t seem to be a guarder of food. The bad: he has a ton of energy! That’s not a bad thing, but if he doesn’t get the exercise he needs he will be destructive (when he gets played with & worn out this isn’t an issue). He can & will climb a baby gate given the opportunity (my yard is partially fenced & he’s never tried to climb it). He is also a counter surfer (though this has been getting better). He has chased the neighborhood cat, so probably wouldn’t do good in a home that has a cat. It’s been a hard decision to make, overall he’s a great dog. But my dog has started to show aggression towards him. I also just don’t feel like I have the time to be able to give him the attention he needs. I will send him with his collar, leash, crate, a small amount of food in case you want to switch his food. I am asking a small rehoming fee just to ensure he goes to the best home for him.
