FREE Computer Programming Lessons For 3rd-8th Graders (Project Ignite). My name is Erick, and I’m a Freshman at Santa Barbara City College studying Computer Science. I’m speaking on behalf of Project Ignite, a community service organization founded in 2018 that teaches kids coding at no cost. As of today, we’ve taught over 100 students. My team and I are offering to individually tutor 3rd-8th graders how to program for free! The goal of these tutoring sessions is to help kids explore a great field while having fun.
