Description
The Install Trainer is responsible for developing and conducting install related training programs for existing install crews as well as teaching the entry level Install Training Program. They will work daily with our class of trainees to advance their technical abilities, to round out their communication skills, and to teach them the Bell Brothers install process. As the training area is one of constant change, the ideal candidate must be able to react positively and help lead the way forward to include new developments in training targeted to both new and existing employees. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach modules during our 16 week Install training Program. Coordinate all in the field training during the training period. Perform weekly evaluation of trainees with other trainers to monitor the trainees performance. Moderate and administer hands on technical training. Must have the ability to identify Trainees who are not performing and provide support and solutions; hold the Install Trainees to a high level of accountability. Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze training effectiveness and update curriculum as needed. Consult with management to assess training needs; design, develop, implement and deliver technical training programs for varying levels of employees to meet those needs. Assist Install Department as needed to provide even coverage and support for all install needs. Participate as a lead in Install training meetings. Coordinate training schedules with the hiring and training demands of the Install Departments. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc. Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods. Assist employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their job description. Make suggestions on improving work procedures. Share in interview process to identify new install trainees. Promote positive good will on behalf of Bell Brothers to customers and employees alike, while representing the company core values. Must run calls when needed to support our team in the field, both field support and customer concerns. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of expertise. Ability to assess needs related to Bell Brothers practices and procedures and produce training programs and materials to target these needs. Leadership skills to effectively direct employees while in a training environment. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, trainees, and customers. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training programs. Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Must possess the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues. Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills. Proven presentation and facilitation skills. Experience in facilitating product and technical training. Knowledge of Windows, Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial HVAC Install Previous teaching or trainer experience preferred NATE certified is a plus Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
