Hi! I am looking for someone that would like to ride my mare on-site for the summer at the barn where she is boarded. 2-3 days a week, not wanting much money just something to help towards board :) I can give lessons for an extra fee!. The mare in question is a 15 year old grey thoroughbred 16.2hh. She is a nicely trained English horse. She’s gentle and kind. I have a hunt seat saddle and a dressage saddle (17in) for riding her. There are indoor and outdoor riding arenas. The mare enjoying jumping as well. Very friendly small boarding barn in Albany. I would not recommend a beginner rider. Someone advanced beginner, intermediate or above would be best! Somebody that just wants to handle a nice horse and brush them or learn more horsemanship skills would be fine too! Riding is not necessary haha. I’ve attached a couple of photos.
