Help - Child with Medical Condition

Seeking suggestions: My daughter purchased a model home and signed a contract stating the builder has until the end of September to sell the new homes in this community. Sadly, my one year old grandson was diagnosed with a medical condition and had surgery a month ago. There will be further surgeries since there was no change in my grandson's condition. His family will be relocating to MD from CA in the middle of July. As of now my grandson with a medical condition will be homeless living in a hotel for two months. My grandson should be sleeping in his own bed surrounded by his stuffed animals. The builder is using the house's garage as an office. He is not showing the model because he is no longer building this type of home. He is building a new model. My daughter bought this house virtually due to the pandemic. She will see it in person for the first time when they arrives in MD. The builder refuses to return her deposit so she could look for a home she could move into on July 14th. My son in law was in Afghanistan twice prior to children. He was considered a first responder and never had the privilege to work from home during this pandemic. When it rains it pours...my grandson tested positive for COVID! Any help will be truly appreciated!
