Description

McBee Construction Company is currently hiring for a Heavy Equipment Operator position. You will run heavy machinery and install underground utilities. Responsibilities: - Install storm sewers and city sewers. - Install city and public water lines. - Performs backfilling and grading operations to specified grade. - Loads dump truck with excavated soils or materials such as stone, sand, aggregate, or asphalt. - Operates heavy equipment such as a Track hoe, Loader, Dozer, Compactor, Blade, Skid steer, Mini, and other heavy equipment. - Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving. - Able to follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site. - Properly follow all OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment including wearing personal protective equipment. Requirements: - Heavy equipment operator experience: 3 years (Preferred) - Reading cuts/fills experience: 3 years (Preferred) - Fine grading experience: 3 years (Preferred) - Be able to work overtime when required. - Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
