SPRINGMOUNTAINRAIN is an amateur / independent project led by Lu (Vocals, Guitar) and Ren (Backing Vocals, Bass). We have music currently in production (self produced), experience in the local venue scene (locals), and also have several songs written / ready for a live performance (info below). We are a two piece at the moment and are looking for: -Drummer -Guitarist (To learn parts but also for collaboration in the future) -Keyboardist / Pianist (To create new material with) -Lead Vocalist (Lu is currently the lead but will happily pass the mic to a motivated singer) Requirements: -Must be 21+ -Must be motivated -Must have gear & transportation -Must be able to meet on Wednesday nights -Minimum 3 years of practice Quick notes about the project: -We are formerly known as Gloom Bloom and have played many shows with our old lineup. During the recording and production of our EP, we've unfortunately gone through changes in our lineup and therefore decided to change the artistic direction of our project, re-naming it SPRINGMOUNTAINRAIN. As a duo, we've prepared an acoustic setlist with a more Indie-Folk style of music, but we want to transition it to a full band setlist so that we have the ability to bring our Indie-Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop and possibly even Electronica influences into our live performance. We also want to achieve a "real" sound, meaning little to no effects to our tones. We want the composition and production to both be endearing in their own way.
