But dig, I don't want to strum no acoustic and sing Jimmy Buffett. You feel me, bro? I know y'all don't really want to drag your ass over that long bridge and drive 5 more miles across the peninsula. So this is what I will throw at you: 1. More pay. I make real good money and don't need a whole lot more. So I will cut you a bigger piece. If the gig is $150 a man, I will pay you $200. Don't like the idea of driving back to Tampa at 2 AM? No sweat. I have an apartment near the beach. You can crash there, ride back in the morning. 2. What are we going to play? Funk, rock, blues. Maybe some fusion if we can get away with it. 3. If there is something else to sweeten the deal, name it. Want to sing? Want to pick some of the songs? Want do a solo here and there?
