The Fulfillment Specialist I reports to the eCommerce Operations Manager and is typically a Warehouse Support I or higher. The role of the fulfillment specialist is to serve as an eCommerce and retail shipping specialist, warehouse assistant, and delivery backup, and is responsible for supporting all activities in the Warehouse, Fulfillment and Logistics department. This role requires a positive attitude and working well as a team. This is a very physical role that requires a high level of energy. This opportunity may require working the occasional overtime, and may require working on Saturdays. The responsibilities listed are not all inclusive and are subject to change. Fulfillment Specialist Responsibilities: Picking and shipping eCommerce and retail orders Staying up to date on fulfillment requirements and procedures Pick, prepare, label and schedule both ground and freight shipments Ensure all items are properly received, transferred and represented within our inventory management system at all times Assist in the creative, efficient and safe organization of the warehouse with a priority on maximum space utilization Communicate with customers and retail store staff over the phone, e-mail or via online portals while upholding ListenUp’s high values and standards Assist customers at will-call with various issues including service requests or product pickup. Using point of sale, shipping and eCommerce related software. Stocking and consolidating inventory. Taking physical inventory counts. Pulling stock orders for delivery using an inventory management system, while checking inventory levels for accuracy. Loading outbound orders. Emptying the trash. Breaking down and recycling boxes. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Taking pallets and styrofoam to a recycle plant. Answering phone calls and customer will-calls. Assist the Warehouse Manager or eCommerce Operations Manager as needed. CRITERIA Required Skills: Team mentality Attention to detail Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to learn and have an open minded approach to new concepts and procedures Great communication, both spoken and written Excellent computer and contemporary business software skills Required Experience/Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Certifications: Valid driver’s license with clean MVR Required Physical: Lifting up to 50 lbs Carrying up to 50 lbs Standing, 8+ hours a day Walking, 8+ hours a day Driving, occasionally Assist other positions within the greater eCommerce or Warehouse team as needed.
