Otis is searching for a new home WITHOUT cats. Although he is a puppy, his drive to chase cats is extremely high, and we own a few of them. He will bite a cat, or bite you trying to get to a cat. CAT FREE ONLY HOMES. We did a DNA test on him, and he is a mix of several breeds including husky, pit, and heeler. Otis is a VERY active puppy. He’s great with kids. We are working on house training, and he is almost there but still has accidents. He knows sit and lay down. We have reached out to the “rescue” we got him from to see about their return policy, unfortunately they claim they do not take “untrained puppies”, essentially saying he’s “just a puppy and cannot cause damage”. Otis is a wonderful puppy, but the cat issue is something we cannot ignore. We’ve worked with him on it for over a month, and he still has the drive to chase cats. Otis is microchipped and has shots (I will provide the “records” the “rescue” provided, however it’s literally just stickers on an index card). He is NOT neutered and this “rescue” does not provide his neuter at a later date like reputable rescues. His rehoming fee is $200 (the same as what the “rescue” charged).
