OVERVIEW: Our company is currently seeking applicants for a level entry cannabis cultivation grow technician. We have several open positions. Previous cannabis cultivation experience preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will be able to live in Oregon within commute range of Newberg, Oregon. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism by Implementing cultivation practices as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) • Trims plants • Accurately weigh and record all wet trim weights • Wash and sanitize all equipment • Scout all equipment ensure all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease • Break down and set up plant rooms • Sanitize and swap all reservoirs as assigned • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in order to uphold the Company’s standard for quality • Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity • Maintain organization and sanitization of the facility throughout the day • Assist in government inspections with inventory and compliance audits • All other job duties as assigned • Report directly to Shift Grow Lead or Cultivation Director. REQUIREMENTS: • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, and telephone • Must be at least 21 years of age • Must be able to perform physical requirements necessary to the position, including standing for long periods of time, walking the greenhouse, and lifting of 50 pounds. • Currently Hold or able to obtain an OLCC Marijuana Worker Handlers Permit. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Moderate noise level similar to a typical busy office and warehouse environment • Occasional exposure to loud machines (ear protection provided and available) • Varied hours and/or days, including nights, days, holidays, or weekends • Constant co-worker interactions EDUCATION: • High school or equivalent SALARY: • $15.00 / Hr.
