OVERVIEW: Our company is currently seeking applicants with strong-to-excellent knowledge of cannabis products and cultivation techniques. Previous cannabis cultivation experience preferred. Qualified candidates will be able to live in Oregon within commute range of Newberg, Oregon. JOB SUMMARY: In the position of Packager, you will work as part of a team to constantly produce quality product for sale and delivery. You will also be expected to work with practices to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality System requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices, GMPs. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Work in a team with packagers to maintain productivity and sanitary conditions. • Maintaining packaging systems with a focus on quality and growth. • Coordinating with the Packaging Lead and Supervisors as to tasks and projects that need to be accomplished. • Representing the company culture and brand to customers and the public. • Assist with Labeling of packaging when the need arises. • Be able to maintain a speed of packaging while keeping quality and sanitation in mind. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: • Are a self-driven and motivated to work. • Experience in a GMP or HACCP environment preferred. • Have a keen eye for detail and are motivated by delivering your work on time. • Have a strong team ethic. • Have excellent verbal communication skills. • Quickly learn and perform in a fast-paced role. • Currently Hold or able to obtain an OLCC Marijuana Worker Handlers Permit. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Moderate noise level similar to a typical busy office and warehouse environment • Occasional exposure to loud packaging machines (ear protection provided and available) • Varied hours and/or days, including nights, days, holidays, or weekends • Constant co-worker interactions EDUCATION: • High school or equivalent GED.
