hi. i’m iris, a writer and artist based in portland oregon. i have recently been wondering how i can sometimes be decent with words to serve to the community, and i had the idea i could help mourners write inscriptions on the gravestones/headstones of their deceased loved one. i can also procure an inspirational quote to be a tattoo: think “he was just a rat in a cage.” i know in the days after a death it can be difficult to figure out exactly what to write, how to best honor a person with a sentence or two or three. i would love to assist mourners who are intimidated by this task, working with them to pen the perfect epitaph. if i could be helpful in this way, please feel free to reach out. of course my services would be absolutely free.
