Description
Fiddle, banjo, guitar and mandolin players seeking others for old time/folk/traditional jam. Repertoire includes traditional waltzes and standard fiddle tunes. Did you know Old Joe Clark’s birthday was on the Eighth of January? Sometimes we have Blackberry Blossom Whiskey Before Breakfast on a Cold Frosty Morning. Angeline the Baker and The Arkansas Traveler took our last guitar player and headed for Cripple Creek and were last seen doing the Tennessee Waltz with the Red Haired Boy. If any of that makes sense, you’ll fit right in, if not you only need to know four chords and have a capo handy and you’ll still fit right in. We are a low key group of amateur players, so all levels are welcome. Open to other stringed instruments. We tend to get together a couple times a month and our only motivation is the smile these old tunes put on our collective faces.
