Next Generation of Cover Band - 90s/2000s - Rock/Alternative/Pop-punk

Description
Hello! I am looking to infuse some life into the Tampa music scene by starting a cover band that plays tunes for the 20s-40s crowd. I am a singer/rhythm guitarist with 10+ years of experience in gigging bands. I need a bassist, lead guitarist, and a drummer. Open to killer female singers as well. Singing/background vocals from any member is a plus. Open to splitting vocal duties. The 90s nostalgia is HUGE right now, and I'm trying to tap into that. I want to play 90s/2000s (happy to be a bit flexible) rock/alternative hits that people know and can bob around to. No deep cuts. Maybe one per gig for a break in-between songs. You want people to care/show up to the gig? Play songs THEY like, not just ones YOU like. Ages should be between 21-40. I'm young, look young, and want my band members to have the same youthful look. Not looking for the "I've worked at Guitar Center since the Reagan administration" look. Just cut the hair, man. No cargo shorts. OK fine, cargo shorts at practice only. Green Day, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, 90s 1-hit wonders, 2000s 1-hit wonders, Blink-182, Everclear, REM, some 80s stuff (Billy Idol/Joan Jett), Nirvana, White Stripes, Black Keys, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes (they do punk-ish covers of classic tunes), The Strokes, The Killers, Oasis, Queens of the Stone Age, The Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Social Distortion.... If it was a hit from 1985-2010, and can be rock-ified, I'm happy to play it. Fun songs. People like fun. Nothing too heavy. I have professional gear and you should too. I may be able to help you out a bit gear-wise if you're a bassist but that's all I've got. No drama. I work 8:30-5:30 M-F so this band will not be my fulltime job. With that said, everyone needs to take the band seriously, do your homework, show up prepared, and be ready to play 1-2 gigs/month. Here's a bit of a kicker: I live downtown and don't have a practice space. Happy to rent one (is that a thing here?) or hope that one of the members has a space for us to practice. If this sounds intriguing to you, please reach out! Not sure if you're the right fit? Still, please reach out! Thanks for reading, Happy 4th!
