A sustainable building materials distributor seeks a qualified candidate to help manage our warehouse and fabrication facility south of downtown LA. Previous experience may vary, but overall qualifications include: • Construction or (light-gauge) metal fabrication experience • Ability to hold precision tolerances • Ability to oversee 4-5 employees • Reading and comprehending shop drawings and/or blueprints • Assembling components with hand tools—drills, clamps, snips, etc. • An engaged commitment to quality and process improvement • Ability to create/maintain production schedules • Knowledge or interest in sustainability or home building • Multi-tasking ability and good judgment • Motivated with good work ethic, keen attention to detail and excellent communication/organizational skills. This person must be a self-starter, willing to quickly learn and improve on internal processes.
