Responsibilities include packing bulk merchandise correctly and preparing them for shipment using various production equipment. Essential Functions 1. Prepare products and accessories for packing. 2. Open product boxes and place product content carefully on working table. 3. Ensure to attach sticker on the specific spot of the product in a correct order. 4. Collect products, place on a tray and carry to the cart in packing area. 5. Place products in clamshell or foam with manual set, poster and cables; put everything into color box, seal with sticker. 5. Carry the products with color box to boxing area. 6. Use tape gun to label shipping box, shrink-wrap the product and finally move finished product to warehouse. 7. Clean up packing area by end of shift including collecting trash boxes. Competencies: Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines. Ability to lift and load packages up to 50lbs. Ability to operate pallet jacks and dollies. Ability to focus on completing daily tasks promptly with strong attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to read, write and interpret information. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Positive attitude and quick learner. Physical Demands The employee is required to stand for 7-8 hours. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to operate pallet jacks, and dollies to move product. Required Education and Experience High-School Graduate. At least 1 year of handling, packing and general warehouse experience. Preferred Education and Experience Previous warehouse product packing experience. Knowledge of how to effectively pack boxes. Prior experience with pallet jacks or production equipment is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional overtime.
