Description
Disassembly Technician
Amigo Mobility International is seeking a detail oriented person to join the Parts for Carts team to work Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate is one that not only meets the requirements listed below, but can maintain a clean working environment, take projects on when needed, and efficiently communicate with the team lead.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble units for parts
Recondition and restore quality parts and units by cleaning, repairing or rebuilding
Perform inventory counts and report low inventory items to the Shop Lead
Pick and prepare parts for shipping per pick tickets
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Wear safety glasses and any other protective gear as directed by Shop Lead
Report any problems with parts, tooling, methods, safety, etc. to Shop Lead
Ensure all parts are clean prior to shipping and entering sales warehouse
All work assigned by Shop Lead
Report low inventory items
Fill out all required paperwork as directed by Shop Lead
Look for better ways of doing things
Skills Required:
Problem-solving skills
Customer service
Sound mechanical and electrical ability
Some ability to read wiring diagrams
Exhibits organizational skills
Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
Must be able to interpret written and/or pictorial work instructions
Able to stand for long periods of time
