Description

her name is Riot. I can no longer keep her due to my living and work situation. she is 2 y/o, fixed and up to date on her vaccines. i have had her for about 9 or 10 months, and only a couple months ago she began being aggressive with the older dachshunds i live with and we could no longer live in harmony like we had been before, and after trying and trying to remedy the situation for months we came to the hard conclusion that she could not live on the property any more. despite having success in training her and knowing that she is a fast learner it seemed like she just could not let her grudge against this dachshund go, and then i had to completely stop letting her get anywhere near him to keep him safe and anxiety-free. She is a good dog she loves to play fetch and she loves to run and just wants to hangout by your side all day. she has a big heart but can be aggressive when meeting dogs she doesn't know. with a muzzle and a training collar for corrections i have had success introducing her to other dogs. unfortunately i started using these training techniques too late to be able to keep her with me. since ive had to leave my home shes been in a lot of new places the past few weeks meeting new dogs and people, and im keeping up her training everyday so she is really only getting better each day and more desentized to the world around her. she walks well on a leash, she doesnt pull on walks, and she doesnt really bark unless quickly at someone at the door or fence. she is athletic and certain fences she can jump over but if you keep her occupied with fetch and toys while outside with her she's not going to try. she responds to commands and she is very protective while also being such a sweetheart. i only found out after i began the process of rehoming her that her breed is belgian malinois and labrador, she definitely has qualities of both. i have not seen her reaction to kids younger than 4/5 (she was very good with those kids) while i think she would do fine because she loves people, i think its good to be wary in all situations where she is meeting new people or animals, or somewhere kids might be running around or with kids who are not used to dogs. our situation is urgent because i need to return back home and to get back to work as soon as possible, which is all the way back in California and id really rather not put Riot on a plane. if you or someone you know is looking for a loyal comapanion like Riot and can help me find a loving home for my girl please text or call 53zero-seven3nine-3nine1one
