Alltek Smashathon will provide a fun and easy way to finally clean out your old computer closet! Just about every business has a closet FULL of old computer equipment. In an effort to recycle all of this equipment, raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County, AND help you relieve some stress… we’re holding the inaugural Alltek smashathon! Urban Recycling will be onsite with multiple trucks to ensure every bit of the equipment is recycled. This will be a great way to have fun while recycling! A waiver will need to be signed at the entrance. This is a first of it's kind event, so let's lay out the process: 1. Register for the event to gain entry the day of (100% of proceeds go to support Boys and Girls Clubs of Polk County) 2. Purchasing your ticket allows you to bring unlimited computer equipment to recycle. NO LIMIT! Time to clean out that closet. 3. Bring the equipment with you the day of (you do not have to bring equipment to gain entry, we'll have plenty of stuff to SMASH!) 4. Come and Leave at any point! You are not expected or required to be there the length of the event. This is a come and go as you please event. Rather than a 4 hour itinerary. 5. Day of, there will be food trucks on site as well the Yard on Mass bar to purchase food and drinks 6. You will need to sign a waiver and wear the provided protective gear to SMASH! 7.
