An afternoon of fun & love, in honor of Madeleine Christine. Last fall we lost our baby Madeleine, via miscarriage. Absolutely devastated, we knew we wanted something good to come from her passing. 7/11/2021 was supposed to be my/our due date, and instead of letting the day pass by and thinking of all the “What If’s”, Anthony and I want to share the love we have in our hearts for Maddie, with our community. We truly do believe she was here, even if it was for such a brief time, for a purpose. Madison’s Miracles is a local organization that provides a LONG list of resources for grieving families who are victims to pregnancy and infant loss. Whether that be burial costs, grief counseling, group therapy, or placing cuddle cots (Cooling bassinets that help preserve a ‘still’ baby so the family receives the gift of time to assist in the grieving process.) in local hospitals- their main goal is to help and connect those families together. Carenet is a national organization with locations all over the country, who’s main mission is to assist families in crisis. They provide parenting classes, baby care items (Formula, diapers, wipes, clothes, car seats, etc- all from credits earned from taking parenting classes), pregnancy tests, and more. Both of these organizations are integral parts of our community- ensuring no family, either with living children or not, knows they aren’t alone. Keep an eye out for updates about our raffles- not only will we be taking donations for baby care items, but some of those baby care items will earn you a raffle ticket (psssst… FORMULAAAA IS A BIGGIE!!!). It will be an afternoon of love and community! There will be cupcakes from Pretty Little Cupcakes By Monique, and amaaaazing coffee and other yummy drinks from Cool Beans Brew in addition to other refreshments. There will be cheesy games, raffles, and plenty to do! Please don’t be afraid to contact me if you’re interested in supplying or supporting this event! **This is a semi formal event**
