Paid study for Type 1 Diabetes

Design Science is seeking individuals (6 years -17 years old) that are currently managing Type 1 Diabetes to participate in a single, 4 hour, in-person interview. Patients who are between 6 and 10 years old and share diabetes management with their caregivers will both participate simultaneously. Parent/Guardian of those 10 years -18 years old must also attend to sign consent form. Participants will be compensated $400 for their time. Sessions will be held in Philadelphia, PA July 23rd - July 30th. If you are interested to see if you qualify, please sign up at to be contacted. Participants will provide feedback regarding a new device. The goal of this project is to gather feedback from potential users that will help to improve usability and design. This is a SIMULATED study. No medication will be administered to the person or anyone else. All CDC guidelines have been put into place, masks are required and well as social distancing.
