Description

pINKWELL (TM) is a beach party with a cause on Inkwell Beach on Martha's Vineyard and now you can celebrate at home too! pINKWELL (TM) is a beach party with a cause that the Psi Omega Chapter hosts on Inkwell Beach on the third Thursday in August where AKA's, family & friends come from all over to fellowship and enjoy a summer celebration. Join us on Inkwell Beach or at home virtually as we celebrate, relax, and have a good time at pINKWELL(TM) this summer! This year's festivities will include a food and drink demonstration, fun games and competitions, and a fashion show. We hope you can join us! In conjunction with this social celebration, each year we host a fundraiser to support our community programing efforts on the Vineyard and in the Greater Boston Area. The proceeds of the fundraiser have benefited organizations/initiatives included but not limited to the Niantic Park Youth Basketball Program, the MV Council on Aging, Edgartown High School Backpack Drive, and HBCU for Life Care pAKAges. Since 2014, we have gathered on Inkwell Beach and created a wave of Pink & Green. This year will be a hybrid celebration as Massachusetts safely opens back up. So, although we are not able to all safely gather together, the show must go on even if we are at home. We are once again bringing the pINKWELL (TM) experience to you virtually. Please join us virtually and consider making a chartiable donation to support this FREE event and our impact to be of service to all. Donor Gifts for all donation packages placed by July 23, 2021 will arrive by pINKWELL (TM) 2021. Gifts for all donations received after that date, will be fulfilled based on availability. $100 - INKWELL Donor (Tote bag + Towel + Hat) $50 - STEAMSHIP Donor (Hat + Towel) $25 - JETTY Donor (Flip-flops) Event Details will be shared via e-mail after RSVP at a later time. Psi Omega Chapter was chartered in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1926. Members proudly serve the Greater Boston area, providing programs and scholarships that address the needs of our community.  We have 150 professional, college-educated women actively engaged in implementing the exciting Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service international program under the leadership of our International President, Glenda Baskin Glover. She has charged us to work with heightened enthusiasm and passion, joining hands as we inspire our communities and renew our efforts to “Be of Service to All Mankind." Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service includes five target programs:   Target 1: HBCU for Life: A Call to Action Target 2: Women’s Healthcare and Wellness Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy Target 4: The Arts! Target 5: Global Impact   Through our signature program, #CAPSM, which stands for College Admissions Process, we will support students' efforts to enter college. And we will continue to leverage our Community Impact Days to engage in activities that will benefit the community and continue our commitment to lifelong service.    Our chapter focuses on “Sistership, Membership and Leadership” through five areas:
