Chicago’s largest Barber competition. Celebrating our 5th year anniversary. Barber Categories, give aways, raffles ,fun, food & drinks. The Battle of the Champions History & Agenda The Battle of the Champions started in April of 2016 with the purpose of showcasing the talents of up & coming Barbers, promote small & larger businesses ,honor our industry leaders and to attract the most talented and creative Barbers the world has to offer. Some categories are different each year to give the show some new excitement. Every year we honor two educators and 2 humanitarians for their work in the industry and community. We also induct Barbers that have been competing for over 5 years or have won a certain amount of awards to the competition Legends fraternity. We have about 20 vendors, 7-10 categories & employ over 20 people at the event. We give away a Barber kit to the winner of the student essay competition which is sponsored by The Battle of the Champions & Cutting the negativity. General competition rules 1.No precutting is allowed at all. All models head should have at least a 2 (with the grain) amount of hair. Enhancements are allowed unless a category rules says other wise. Enhancements must be applied correctly. 2.Pre Color is allowed unless the category rules says otherwise. All rules are listed here and in the description of each category. 3.Competition Categories will start on time. If you are late whatever time you missed is on you. Please arrive 45mins before your category starts. 4. No help is allowed from anyone in the audience. Only category that allows help is the tag team and that’s from your partner. 5.No one is allowed in the competition area except the judges, OFFICIAL BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS photographer and staff. 6. No refunds for not having a model. Only refunds will be if the category or event is cancelled. 7.Results from the judges are final. The judges that are selected are experienced judges and award winning Barbers that have competed multiple times. 9.You can request your scores after the show and they will be sent to you during the week after the show.
