The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce brings you children's programming featuring the Fifth House Ensemble! The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring back Bands On Broadway as a larger scale event this year that brings the celebration to every corner of the community and well Beyond Broadway! Fifth House Ensemble presents Music Can Tell A Story. This highly interactive concert explores the ways in which music can tell a story without words, and how composers and authors alike use various musical tools to create characters, setting, and plot. The ensemble pairs chamber music and text, leading students through a series of small and large group activities. The audience participates in a “Choose Your Own Adventure” project at the end of the performance, culminating in a presentation of their original story inspired by music. There will be two presentations of this program at 1pm and 2pm. Performance Times: 1:00pm and 2:00pm Pre-show by Low Ceiling Circus: 12pm at First Midwest Bank Lot next door In lieu of festival vendors, we are encouraging attendees to order food and beverage from neighboring restaurants to bring along with them to enjoy at the show! Some participating restaurants will even delivery right to the concert where there will be hosted delivery area to receive it. There will be a limited number of chairs available, but attendees are welcome to bring along their favorite lawn chair to lounge in. This show is good for all ages. No alcohol, please.
