Join Kendra Scott and Orion Jean, 10-year-old founder of “Race to Kindness” in his Race to 500,000 books! According to Reading Is Fundamental, did you know, two out of every three children living in poverty have no books to call their own? The Shops at Clearfork will be hosting a book drive celebration on Saturday July 17th , 11am-2pm at The Plaza Green in support of the Race to 500,000 Books and we need your help! Orion will be collecting elementary level children's books and monetary donations for the Race to 500,000 Books and the Fort Worth community. The beneficiaries of this book drive will be Fort Worth Independent School District , Reading Partners, and Book Drive For Kids. There will be free children activities and Kendra Scott Clearfork will be giving back 20% of proceeds from sales during event in support of the Race to 500,000 books.
