Crochet as a community to beautify Bronzeville's historic Forum! Join Build Bronzeville, Friends of the Forum and Valerie Sherman a.k.a "the South Side Yarn Bomber" in decorating the historic Forum with crochet art! Crochet a triangle piece, like the example below, that represents the future of The Forum, be it music, theater, dance, food, family, community. What's YOUR vision for The Forum? Want to participate, but don't know how to crochet? Learn the basics to create a simple piece at our Bronzeville Community Garden "Crochet & Conversation" meetups! All supplies will be provided. Crochet & Conversation Dates: Thursday, June 24 @ 6p-7:30p Thursday, July 1 @ 6p-7:30p Thursday, July 8 @ 6p-7:30p If you've created a crochet piece at home, you can bring your finished piece to any of the meetup dates for Valerie to incorporate. Then, join us on Sunday, July 11, as we install the crochet art to the front of The Forum!
