Let’s reconnect and find some inspiration at this happy hour event! The Hot Shops Art Center and Millwork Commons are hosting a Creative Meetup, July 15, 5-6 p.m. Kros Strain Brewing is now open and beverages are available for purchase. Ben Drickey will give a short talk on "hOmaha." Ben lives his life through experiences. This Emmy nominated filmmaker travels the world telling stories. As grateful as he is for those amazing experiences, what grounds him, is coming back to his family and home in Omaha. As founder of Torchwerks, over the last decade, Ben has filmed over a thousand projects, from commercials to documentaries. Ben's keen observation skills and unwavering passion for storytelling through moving imagery translates through his lens and onto every screen. He views each project as an opportunity to challenge himself and create an impression on the viewer. While process and production are important, he is a firm believer that creativity wins out and helps any size project live up to its potential.
