TKG is offers outdoor, nature-based and social-emotional play & support group for children. TKG is offering this time for playful learning, outdoors with a maximum of 6 students to 1 teacher. The group will meet at a park to be determined. During their time together, students will be encouraged to play to promote social-emotional well being and cooperative learning. Thursdays begining July 1! The first session ends on July 22 (4weeks). The second session ends Aug 26 (4 weeks starting August 5). The hours are from 1-3pm for students ages 6-10. The following protocols will be in place: Do not come to school if you or your child is sick. Teachers will make visual wellness checks and decisions and expect parent support with prompt pick ups. All students will arrive and depart at the same time. No parents within the play group. TKG teachers will be talking to children about COVID and how to manage the protocols including hygiene and sneezing protocols. Student items and learning tools separated as much as possible. Regular hand washing or hand sanitizing. Touchless and sanitizing/soap stations In a public space, all should be wearing masks. Staff temperature checks. A temperature of 100.4°F/38°C or higher will cue us to send a teacher home. If a child exhibits signs of illness, they will be comfortable in a space nearby until a parent picks up. Collaboration Guidelines Please arrive on time. If you will not or cannot attend, please let your teacher know before the meeting. If you have been exposed to COVID, please notify TKG admin immediately. Questions are welcome and constructive feedback is encouraged.
