Reconnecting with the core VR community of the Bay Area. Due to space constraints this is a invite only event (for now!) Bay Area VR Meetup: The Next Generation Let's have a VR Meetup! I miss every last one of you and things are 'getting back to normal' and we have so much to catch up on! WHERE AND WHEN: Computer History Museum, Mountain View - *Boole Room (*where it all began!) July 22nd from 6pm-10pm Primarily, I want this to be a chance to have us all re-connect but also talk about the form and function of the Bay Area VR community and how we can help each other. I'm asking that everyone who can come and has the means to contribute $20 for venue costs (~$1000) and pizza/drinks (~$500). If you can't manage that, do what you can and come anyway! We want you there! The agenda will be: Thursday 7/22 6pm-10pm 6-7 Mingling, Eating, Awkward engagement with and hugging of other humans for the first time in 400 days 7-7:30 Who we are, what we want from a meetup/community. 7:30-8:00 Talks 8-9:30 Demos, Mingling 10pm Closing We will be streaming the meetup and somehow streaming into VR as well (not the HF magic way that SVVR had, but somehow) for those who can't make it physically.
