Come learn useful phrases and words in American Sign Language that relate to art workshops and in daily life. This American Sign Language (ASL) conversation class includes words and phrases useful in art making workshops and in daily life. Team taught by two local Deaf community members in our new space at 22nd and MLK. This 4 week class meets Wednesdays from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM on: July 7, 14 , 21 , & 28. Sliding scale. All ages welcome. Register for each class separately, or for the whole four-week series. Rock Paper Scissors Collective (RPSC) is a member-directed, all volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fosters creativity and collaboration in order to strengthen local communities, encourage sustainable practices, and explore alternative models. We promote the sharing of ideas, skills, and resources through the celebration of art, craft, education, and performance. RPSC currently realizes this mission through low-cost art workshops, curated and open-call gallery exhibitions, retail of handmade and independently produced goods, pop-ups, a variety of community events, and youth involvement.
