Join us in promoting the Health and Wellness Initiative of Dress for Success Metro Jackson. The Power Walk for Dress for Success Metro Jackson will be held at the District at Eastover on August 28, 2021. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:00 a.m. In order to gain employment and become self-sufficient, it is critical that women are also healthy and well! Dress for Success empowers women to make healthy choices in work and in life. This 5k walk promotes the Health & Wellness Initiative of the Professional Women’s Group (PWG) and raises funds and visibility for Dress for Success. PWG members, volunteers, corporate partners, donors and friends will have the opportunity to join together to celebrate and support our mission. Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development of tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to almost 150 cities in 25 countries and has helped 1.2 million women work towards self-sufficiency.
