Little Entrepreneurs Workshop Join us at “The Lemonade Social,” where your child can learn about entrepreneurship in an intimate and engaging way. Whether your child is new in his or her journey or wants to know more, this is the event for them. We will cover many wonderful topics related to entrepreneurship, and have a great time while doing so. We will have guest speakers representing many diverse entrepreneurial backgrounds, who will speak about their experiences and the many challenges they have had to face throughout their careers. We will also provide great business start-up ideas that your child can put into action right away with zero to little cost. A 2018 study by the Cooperative Children's Book Center, School of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison, found that only 10% of diverse children's books depicted African American characters. As an author that celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusion, I can help boost those numbers! By supporting me as an author, you are also supporting a child as a reader. Mission To get more children into the habit of reading and/or to support their reading habits. Benefits of reading One of the most rewarding outcomes of reading is the building of imagination. Our imagination enhances our ability to put great ideas together. It allows us to see things as they could be and not as they are. Imagination forces us to be creative, and creativity has proven to improve things. in addition, children can explore different aspects of life simply by reading. Encourage them to read more. Reading can take them places they have not physically visited.
