Topics include; culture and traditions of the Marine Corps, feelings surrounding deployment, moving in the military, and things to do around MCLB Barstow and Southern California. Training provides information on available resources and methods for meeting many of the challenges that come with the military lifestyle. L.I.N.K.S. for Spouses is a peer mentoring program that engages spouses through volunteerism. "Coffee" Chats are Monthly networking events that give family members a chance to meet and greet their neighbors. Guest speakers host discussions on various topics such as local programs and services, volunteer opportunities, wellness, relationship building, and personal & professional development. LifeSkills Training & EducationLifeSkills Training & Education offers many workshops like Basic Stress Management, Four Lenses Temperament Discovery, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Military Families, and The 5 Love Languages, just to name a few.
