Diesel Mechanic Needed! Yanmar 3QM30 Inboard

Hi, I have a 37ft sailboat docked in Alameda that has a Yanmar 3QM30. I got this boat at auction a few months ago and have not yet tried to start the engine. The marina says that they got the engine started sometime within the last 6 months using a jerry can. This week I've tried to get the motor going, but so far it only cranks and won't actually fire. I've tried both using the normal fuel line from the tank up front, and using a jerry can, and so far no luck. There is oil in it, the fuel does not look milky, I don't see any leaks from the engine nor do I smell any diesel coming out, and I haven't seen any smoke while cranking. I've put some algicide in it to see if the fuel line was blocked, but still not starting. The 'engine stop' switch is pushed in and the cable seems to be working fine (not stuck). I'm at the end of my knowledge and need to hire somebody ASAP to get this issue resolved. Text preferred, let me know your rates and availability coming up.
