THE POSITION: We are looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to be part of our staff to be able to work between San Jose, Gilroy and Monterey. Please consider applying for this position if you possess Maintenance Technician, including but not limited to average plumbing skills light electrical skills, basic carpentry and general apartment maintenance. You must be customer service oriented, well organized, have the ability to work independently, be friendly, professional, self-starter, organized and diligent and understand that time is of the essence. In addition, you must have reliable transportation, a valid California Driver's License, and proof of automobile insurance. Also, must also have your own tools. 10+ years of prior apartment maintenance experience and computer knowledge is a plus. We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician that is available to work from Monday to through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 each day. THE DUTIES: You must be able to assess and repair plumbing issues, have light electrical skills, know basic carpentry and be able to manage basic janitorial and landscape issues. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to complete a turnover of an apartment in a timely and efficient manner. Skills in tile setting, painting are desirable.
