Description:
We are seeking a part-time caregiver/companion to assist in the daily living of our late sixties father, a moderate-to-severe stroke victim.
Hours:
Wednesday 4pm-10pm
Thursday 4pm-10pm
Friday 4pm-10pm
Saturday 4pm-10pm
Responsibilities:
-Cook balanced meals that the patient can easily microwave
-Keep up appearance/well-being of patient’s areas of habitation
-Socialize
Other notes:
-No bathing or bathroom assistance required
-Patient is ambulatory (can walk)
-Patient needs reminding to do things like groom, take medicine
-Located in Danville
Characteristics/Qualifications:
-Friendly: Someone who makes the time go by happily
-Problem Solver: Someone who proactively solves issues and complications that arise
-Patient: Someone with a calm temperament
-Communicative: Someone who is comfortable speaking and writing in English and responsibly relays updates to family without prompting
-Trustworthy
-Driver’s license
-Must be 420 friendly
-Treats position as social/domestic and not medical. Example: prefer plain-clothes to scrubs
Compensation:
-$30/hr. cash
