CLEARWATER, FL, US, July 1, - In celebration of July 4th the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) Center will host an Independence Day celebration for Clearwater families. The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. in the Osceola Courtyard at the corner of Fort Harrison and Drew Street. Activities include arts & crafts and sack races. In case of rain the activities will move inside the Clearwater Community Center adjacent to the Courtyard. “It has become in a tradition for us to celebrate Independence Day with our community,” said Gertie Perry, Activities Director for the CCV Center. “We are looking forward for the families to enjoy the live music, kids activities and various contests through the afternoon.” In addition to all of the activities a special raffle will be held at 6PM. Tickets for the raffle are obtained by visiting each of the booth located within the park. Prizes for the raffle include scooters, board games, arts & crafts kits and gift cards for Downtown Clearwater restaurants.
