Description
Hi everyone!
Ava is a two year old Alaskan malamute came back to our home after a 6 month stay with a wonderful family who could not manage her care. She had ACL surgery on her right leg 5 weeks ago and as much as I want to help her through this, my family just can't. I have toddler twins and they are trying to jump on her, getting her excited and it's just too much for our family at the time.
Her surgery has been successful and she is an amazing joy to have. Our life is just too crazy and we have made some changes in our day to day and have a vacation coming up that we cannot cancel on.
The family who had her did amazing work getting her treated and it was so hard for them to give her back. Ava apparently decided she wanted to be in an only dog house. However this is up for debate as I've never had any issues with her around other dogs. So I can't attest this is true, I just know the other family had some issues after surgery between her and their other dog.
She is UTD on all vaccines including her bordetella. She is spayed. She has had 3 weeks of professional training but needs a strong personality to keep her skills sharp.
She is on restrictions right now and a sedative to keep her calm from surgery. She does well with kids (even young ones) and cats.
She will come with all of her belongings including a kennel, food/bowls/ treats/ vet records/toys/harness and leash.
She will need an x-ray the end of July to ensure her leg has healed properly. She has flea medication on and was given her heartworm medication 4 days ago.
Asking $150 rehoming fee but that is negotiable to the right family.
We are located in Mooresville/Davidson area.
