REDONDO BEACH, CA — Parking spaces converted into tiny parks and outdoor dining spaces — called "parklets" — could be here to stay, according to a report from Easy Reader News. Redondo Beach city leaders are working with the Riviera Village Association to implement permanent parklets, according to the publication. But, before the arrangement can be extended beyond its December 2021 end date, the California Coastal Commission will need to sign off on the effort.
