PASADENA, CA — Police released a sketch Wednesday of a person they say is possibly connected to the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man that occurred in the Villa Parke neighborhood in November.
The person was wanted in connection with the death of Ernesto Jimenez, who was fatally shot in the 200 block of Parke Street on the evening of Nov. 13.
Jimenez was walking near his home around 8 p.m. when he was shot multiple times, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities don't have a motive for the shooting. Pasadena Now reported Jimenez was previously shot near his home in 2015 in a shooting that also remains unsolved.
It's unknown if more than one person was involved in Jimenez's death. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors offered a $10,000 reward in exchange for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the shooting.
Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Pasadena police at 626-744-4241. Anonymous tips can be sent to Los Angeles Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or lacrimestoppers.org.
