Concerts In The Park Returns To Altadena This Month

ALTADENA, CA — Live music is back at Farnsworth Park this month as the Concerts in the Park series returns to Altadena for its 24th year. The free series will be held Saturdays at 7 p.m. throughout the summer and begins July 10 with The Kings of 88, a piano-based rock band. Concerts are free to attend and will be held at Farnsworth Park's amphitheater. The concert series is presented by the Rotary Club of Altadena in cooperation with the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation department, organizers said. Farnsworth Parks is located at 568 E. Mt. Curve Ave. Here's the full schedule for the concert series: July 10 — The Kings of 88: a piano-based rock band July 17 — Sgt. Peppers: a Beatles tribute band July 24 — Psychedelic Summer: a Woodstock-era tribute band July 31 — Flogging Seagulls: an Irish-themed 80s New Wave tribute band Aug. 7 — Country Nation: a country music tribute band Aug. 14 — Upstream: a reggae, soca and Caribbean music band Aug. 21 — The Hodads: a dance music band Aug. 28 — Gypsy Dreams: a Fleetwood Mac tribute band Sep. 11 — The Walking Phoenixes: a Johnny Cash tribute band
