Diesel Mechanic Needed! Perkins 4-107

Hi -- I have a sailboat with a Perkins 4-107 docked in Brown's Point Tacoma, and the engine just recently doesn't start. It just turns over but won't catch. Got it to start up a couple times briefly, but then it revved up and promptly died. Just put in a couple gallons of diesel, fuel filter has been replaced, no water or oil in it that I can see, oil has been changed, heat exchanger has been cleaned, all hoses are firm, no leaks that I can see... It was starting and running just fine, even motored the boat out into the port and back recently without issues. After that, I took the heat exchanger out to clean it and re-installed it, and now the engine won't start. Don't know if it's related or just a coincidence. Need somebody to come out and get this issue resolved ASAP, I'm at the end of my knowledge here.
