Job Title: Facilities & Maintenance Technician Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm Location: Playa Vista, CA Hourly wage is dependent on experience. This position is eligible for full benefits including health, vision, dental and matching 401K program. Paid holidays and paid time off is accrued after your first 90 days. A background check is run prior to employment. Summary: Irwin Naturals is looking to hire a full-time facilities and maintenance technician for our Playa Vista facilities. Our facilities consist of a 2-story office building and a warehouse. Job Description: The Facilities & Maintenance Technician is required to perform any tasks necessary to ensure the maintenance and smooth running of the building and grounds. Tasks include janitorial, basic plumbing, internal and external maintenance and repair, light electrical, basic HVAC, general construction (such as painting, dry walling, etc.), carpentry, gardening and basic landscaping. Duties also include general support for the Corporate Administrative Services department (i.e., cleaning, lifting, setting up tradeshow booth, running company errands which may include driving of company vehicle. Any other Corporate Administrative Services or Facilities tasks or projects as assigned. Skills & Experience: • Office facilities and maintenance experience. • Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, dry wall, masonry, janitorial, HVAC a plus. • Familiar with the use and operation of hand tools and power tools. • Comfortable working with facilities & maintenance team members, vendors, and outside contractors. • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Use of good judgement when performing and planning to perform tasks and projects. • A valid California Driver License and a clean driving record. • Ability to utilize email (Outlook) and internet research tools. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
